In 2018, I first noticed colorful braids. I was instantly fascinated. It was the first time I realized that hair could be so much more than simply straight or curly.

I began learning the techniques behind these styles and the cultures they come from. I also discovered that each hair texture requires a completely different approach. Having naturally straight hair myself, I have developed a deeper understanding of creating these looks on straight hair.

At first, I was simply doing hair for myself and friends. As more people started reaching out, this passion becomes a profession.Today, my work includes braids, locks, cornrows, creative styling, and stage looks. I have also had the opportunity to teach many people who share the same interests, and that’s one of my favorite part.

It hasn’t always been easy. Feeling misunderstood, struggling with marketing, language barriers…and facing countless small challenges along the way have all shaped my journey. In the end, they have only made my work richer, more thoughtful, and more powerful.
